Pico/Nano Laser (Karma by Reveal Laser)
Effective for Pigmentation Issues
- Melasma and Hyperpigmentation: Pico lasers are highly effective in breaking down pigment, making them an excellent option for treating hyperpigmentation, melasma, sunspots, and age spots.
- Tattoo Removal: It can also be used for tattoo removal, as it breaks down ink particles more efficiently than traditional lasers, leading to faster and more complete removal.
Non-Ablative, Minimal Downtime
Since Pico laser is non-ablative, it doesn’t vaporize or remove the outer layer of the skin. This reduces the risk of side effects and minimizes recovery time, making it a great option for patients seeking little to no downtime.
Improvement in Skin Texture
- Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Pico laser treatments can help stimulate collagen production, improving the overall texture and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Acne Scars: It’s commonly used to improve the appearance of acne scars, delivering fast and noticeable results.
Precise and Safe for All Skin Types
Pico lasers are known for their precision, allowing for effective treatment of specific areas without affecting surrounding tissues. It is also considered safer for darker skin tones compared to some other lasers, reducing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Stimulates Collagen Production
By delivering high-energy pulses in short bursts, Pico lasers stimulate the body’s natural collagen production, which promotes skin healing and rejuvenation over time, leading to smoother, firmer skin.
Fewer Sessions Required
Due to the precision and effectiveness of Pico laser treatments, patients often require fewer sessions to achieve desired results compared to other laser treatments.
While treating pigment for people with skin of color can be very challenging and not all Medspas are familiar with working on darker skin types, at Prejuve, we take a holistic approach and are known for being skinclusive. We offer various options including the Pico laser by Reveal (Karma), the Aerolase Neo Elite, along with microneedling with PRP and exosomes, and chemical peels like VI peels. We pride ourselves on providing solutions for all!

As a neurotoxin made from botulinum-A, Botox relaxes those muscles, causing the dynamic lines and wrinkles to dissipate. It also stops the muscles from forming new aesthetic issues—a benefit called “prejuvenation.”

What You Can Expect
Consultation
Prior to any treatment at PreJuve MedSpa, you’ll meet with a provider for a complimentary consultation. After getting to know you and your aesthetic goals, we’ll also review your medical history. Your provider will also perform a skin examination of the area you wish to treat. If we decide that Botox is your best option, we’ll help you schedule your session—or you can opt to proceed with injections then and there!
Treatment
After determining the best precise injection points, your PreJuve MedSpa provider will sterilize the treatment area. Then, they will expertly inject the Botox using an ultra-fine needle. This typically takes 10 to 15 minutes in total. Most patients start to notice results 3 to 7 days after their injection.
Recovery
There is no downtime after Botox! Some patients experience minor swelling, redness, and/or bruising at the injection sites, but these side effects tend to subside within a few days. PreJuve MedSpa’s experienced injectors have mastered the art of Botox, so you’ll achieve the most seamless results possible.
